Well, Early Shirley, our homebred 5 yr old trotting filly started the year off with a double bang ! She won early in
January with a nice win but at the end of the month she not only came home in a personal best (154.1) but that mark
currently ranks her as the Seasons Leading Fastest Trotting Mare as well gave her the credit of becoming the fastest Delaware-Bred
Trotter (of any age or sex) of all time !
Deb Matthews took her new Arabian gelding (FHL Roc Way) to a clinic with Darcy Miller Brown at Yarmouth. I'm pretty
sure she had fun as well as learnt alot. Hopefully this will start her off on the right foot in the showring future as it
did with her other horse DT (pictured) where she had a few Top 10's at the SportHorse Nationals.
